The 2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class has a base engine that’s 2.0 liters and makes 170 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. It also has an optional turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 188 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, as well as a hybrid powertrain option with a 1.3-liter and 109 horsepower electric motor for total system output.
The 2022 Infiniti Q60 uses an aluminum 3.0-liter V6 engine paired with either rear or all-wheel drive configurations; it produces 300 hp at 6500 rpm and 295lb.-ft. of torque starting at 4000 rpm in rear-drive form with either 19-inch wheels (20-inch wheels are optional) or 21 inch ones standard on all models regardless of configuration when you opt for the Sport appearance package (which includes other cosmetic upgrades).
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class is the clear winner in this matchup. The Infiniti Q60 may look sportier and go faster. Still, it’s also much more expensive and lacks some of the A-Class’ most important features, like advanced assistance systems and an intuitive infotainment interface.
